Follow me on my Personal Twitter, Legend of Korra Fans!

I don’t think I ever really officially introduced myself to all of you. Hey everyone, my name is Keval and I am currently a senior in High School. I’ve been going as the alias of AdminAvatar because I wasn’t too sure how comfortable I’d be with sharing some of my personal life on this blog. In fact, I wasn’t sure if there would ever be anyone to share my personal life with in the first place.

Obviously, I was wrong because the overall response to this blog has been outstanding! We’ve all grown into such a tight nit community that I am so proud to call myself the writer of this blog.

Anyways, I recently opened up a personal Twitter account, and I’d love to have all of you following it! You can follow it @kevshah95 and I plan to be using that Twitter Account MUCH more often than I use the blog’s Twitter account.

That’s pretty much all I wanted to say in this post. It’s a but unusual to write a post like this that has nothing to do with The Legend of Korra, but since we are in the off season, I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to give myself a bit of a shout out! If you’d like our awesome community to follow you too, leave your twitter name in the comments if you feel comfortable doing so.

Production Update: Legend of Korra Episodes from Book 2 Beginning to Wrap Up

As we inch our way closer and closer to Judgment Day 2013, the production for Book 2 of The Legend of Korra inches closer and closer to completion. As most of us should know by now, the final touches are currently being put on Book 2. That means tons of color correcting sessions as well as sound effect implementation.

A lot of these touch-ups have fortunately led to an abundance of Book 2 information over the past few weeks. We’ve learned how the Track Team was just recently working on sound effects for Spirits. Then we had a look at some actual images of Book 2 including a few Story Board scenes.

Now the Track Team has come out to confirm that episodes from Book 2 of The Legend of Korra are beginning to be completed.

Grey DeLisle to Voice a New Character in Book 3 of The Legend of Korra

20121024-070847.jpg

Grey DeLisle used Twitter last night to confirm that she’ll be responsible for the voice of a new character in the The Legend of Korra. She also confirmed that she’ll start recording later this week.

Because voice work will start later this week for this character, we can only assume that the character will make its debut in Book 3 since Book 3 recording has effectively been confirmed.

The tweet that Grey tweeted hasn’t been deleted (yet), but here’s a screen shot of it, anyways:

Book 2 of The Legend of Korra Most Likely to Release During April 2013 [Update]

Update: Post has been updated at the bottom. David Faustino tweeted me some more information.

It looks like the release month for Book 2 of The Legend of Korra is all but confirmed. Earlier today, David Faustino, the voice actor of Mako, tweeted that he expects Book 2 of The Legend of Korra to air sometime April 2013.

No one from Nickelodeon has officially come out to say that Book 2 will air during April 2013, but based on all the hints alluding to that month thus far, I think it’s safe to say that the release month is set. More on all those hints after the actual tweet:

April Will be a Huge Month for The Legend of Korra

A couple days ago, I stumbled upon a tweet by April Stewart (voice actress) in which she proclaimed that she’d have to keep her mouth shut about The Legend of Korra until April. This led me to speculate that April 2013 could be the release date for Book 2 of The Legend of Korra.

While I still believe that this is true, Book 2 releasing in April is not the only speculations that can be made from Stewart’s tweet. As I have previously said, something will have to happen in April to allow voice actors to start talking more about The Legend of Korra. And even if Book 2 doesn’t release in April, further speculation still leads me to believe that April will be a big month for The Legend of Korra.
