The past few weeks haven’t been the best for Legend of Korra fans. All this hype was built up for Nickelodeon Upfront 2013 and then – disappointment. Complete and utter disappointment. But it’s time to move on; dwelling on the past can be dangerous and depressing.

Besides, there are plenty of things we fans have to look forward to. There are, in fact, three pretty big things we have to look forward to in the coming months. And even though I’ve been wrong on pretty much everything up to this point, I think it’s safe to let our guards down and truly anticipate these upcoming events:

Legend of Korra Book 2 Release Date Evidence Roundup

20120917-223040.jpg

It’s already been reiterated many, many times that April will be a huge month for The Legend of Korra. But how can it not be? Almost every time Book 2 has been mentioned, April 2013 is usually always alluded to in some way. This alone has led many to believe that April 2013 will likely be the release month of book 2.

But April wasn’t just some random month drawn out of thin air. The reality is that there is actually a significant amount of evidence that backs up the theory of Book 2 airing in April. I’ve posted about most of that evidence in blog posts throughout the last few months or so, but some details have definitely slipped under the radar.

In order to recap all the evidence we’ve been presented with, as well as cover some minor details I have missed, I created a commentary video that I think you might be interested in watching. Did David Faustino Cover up Book 2 of The Legend of Korra’s Release Month?

If you’ve been following the Twitter mayhem that I’ve gotten myself into (follow me) then you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you don’t, then that’s OK too. I’ll give you a brief rundown of what’s been going on:

It all started when a Twitter User asked David Faustino (voice actor of Mako) when Book 2 of The Legend of Korra would come out. He responded by basically saying Book 2 would come out in April. After reading this, my first instinct was to break the news to my followers, so that’s exactly what I did.

Little did I know that I’d actually get a response from David Faustino the next day telling me that he didn’t actually confirm Book 2’s release month to be April. He explained that he was simply predicting that Book 2 would come out in April. At first I genuinely believed him. But after thinking it over, I realized that I think he may be lying.

April Will be a Huge Month for The Legend of Korra

A couple days ago, I stumbled upon a tweet by April Stewart (voice actress) in which she proclaimed that she’d have to keep her mouth shut about The Legend of Korra until April. This led me to speculate that April 2013 could be the release date for Book 2 of The Legend of Korra.

While I still believe that this is true, Book 2 releasing in April is not the only speculations that can be made from Stewart’s tweet. As I have previously said, something will have to happen in April to allow voice actors to start talking more about The Legend of Korra. And even if Book 2 doesn’t release in April, further speculation still leads me to believe that April will be a big month for The Legend of Korra.
