Legend of Korra Season Finale Title, Air Date and Trailer

Because the first season of The Legend of Korra is almost over, the air date and title of the last 2 remaining episodes have been revealed.

  • Episode 11 will be titled ‘Skeleton in the Closet’
  • Episode 12 will be titled ‘End Game’

Just to clarify, even though the season finale of The Legend of Korra will air in two weeks, Episode 10 will still air next week. For some reason, there was some confusion about that, but hopefully this clears everything up.

We don’t have a clip of Episode 10 just yet, but we do have a short trailer of the season finale. The season finale will be a one hour special that will air both Episode 11 ‘Skeleton in the Closet’ and Episode 12 ‘End Game’ together.

‘Legend of Korra’ Episode 10 to be Titled ‘Turning the Tides’

The XFinity television guide has officially revealed the title of the 10th Legend of Korra episode. Episode 10 will be titled ‘Turning the Tides,

We should be able to do some speculation on the episode once we either see episode 9 or find a description of episode 10.

But for now we’re in the dark.

Update: The description for the episode has been released VIA TV Guide:

Republic City gets bombarded by the Equalists.

‘Legend of Korra’ Episode 9 ‘Out of the Past’ Description Revealed

Episode 9 of The Legend of Korra titled ‘Out of the Past’ has finally received an official description.

Korra tries to understand her visions; Tenzin and Beifong search for Equalist hostages.

Based on the title and description, I feel that we’ll likely see past characters from The Last Airbender within Korra’s visions, specifically Avatar Aang.

Episode 9 could also show Tenzin and Bei Fong search for the non-bending citizens arrested unjustly by Tarlock.

And then there’s Tarlock, who can blood bend whenever he desires. Episode 9 could shape up to include a lot of different plot points.

‘Legend of Korra’ Episode 9 to be Titled ‘Out of the Past’

Update: ‘Out of the Past’ has officially aired. Check out our recap here.

According to the Xfinity episode guide for The Legend of Korra, the 9th episode in the series will be titled ‘Out of the Past’. It is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, June 9th, exactly one week after the 8th episode airs.

If you check the Xfinity guide yourself, you’ll notice that the 9th episode is not exactly displayed very clearly. When you click the link for The Legend of Korra episodes, a page that displays episodes 1-9 initially flashes, but it then disappears and a new page that only shows episodes 1-7 is displayed.

Luckily we have the technology of ‘Print Screen”, which gives us the ability to capture an image of the displayed page on our computer. I used this feature to quickly capture an image of the initial page that shows the 9th Legend of Korra episode. The image that I captured is shown at the top of this post.

Based solely on the episodes title, I have a hunch that we may see a past character from The Last Airbender. Maybe Aang in the Spirit World? Zuko as an old man? This episode has to do with the past, so if we don’t get to see a previous character, I expect the episode to possibly focus on Korra’s “past”.

‘Legend of Korra’ Episode 8 to be Titled ‘When Extremes Meet’

The official Wikia Page for The Legend of Korra has revealed that the 8th episode in the series will be titled ‘When Extremes Meet’.

No description of the episode has been announced, but we do have some solid evidence that could tip off the episode’s plot. Check back tomorrow for that.

The 8th Legend of Korra episode ‘When Extremes Meet’ will air on Saturday, June 2nd. There will not be an episode airing this Saturday because of Memorial Day Weekend.

‘The Legend of Korra’ Episode 5: ‘The Spirit of Competition’ Description Released

The 5th episode of ‘The Legend of Korra’ is titled ‘The Spirit of the Competition’. Here is an official description explaining what we should expect from the episode:

Korra and her teammates struggle to work together after romantic rivalries shake their foundation.

Because this episode revolves around some sort of competition, I think Pro Bending will play a significant part. And since there are “romantic rivalries”, maybe a love triangle will form?

The episode airs Saturday, May 5th; don’t forget!

‘The Legend of Korra’ Episode 4: ‘The Voice in the Night’ Description Released

‘The Voice in the Night’ will be a title of the 4th ‘Legend of Korra’ episode. Here is an official description of the show:

Korra is recruited to join Councilman Tarrlok’s task force which tries to rid the city of Equalists.

In last week’s episode ‘The Revelation’, we learned more about the antagonist, Amon, and his new power. The premise of this week’s episode seems to be based on fighting Amon and the Equalists.

Hopefully we’ll get some great Bending vs. Chi-blocking action this week.

‘The Legend of Korra’ Episode 3: ‘The Revelation’ Description Released

We have officially confirmed that the 3rd episode of ‘The Legend of Korra’ will be know as ‘The Revelation’. Here is a brief synopsis of the episode:

Korra attempts to learn more about the Equalist movement through infiltration.

The first two episodes did an excellent job in introducing the characters and the new Avatar World. This episode will likely focus more on the season’s plot, and by the look of the trailers, I feel that Amon will be a focal point.

Synopsis for First Two Legend of Korra Episodes

An officially synopsis for the first two episodes of The Legend of Korra have been released. The first episode is titled ‘Welcome to Republic City’ while the second episode is titled ‘A Leaf in the Wind’.

In the premiere episode, “Welcome to Republic City,” Korra leaves the safety of her home and travels to bustling Republic City to begin her airbending training. Once there, she is shocked to find a big city full of dangers, including criminal bending gangs and a vocal anti-bending revolution. In episode two, “A Leaf in the Wind,” Korra is living with her airbending teacher Tenzin on Air Temple Island. Frustrated with her inability to master airbending, she turns her attentions to Republic City’s famous Pro-bending Arena. There she befriends two brothers, Mako (David Faustino) and Bolin (P.J. Byrne), who compete in professional bending matches. Korra is immediately drawn to Pro-bending’s dynamic fighting style.

It sounds like these two episodes will go hand-in-hand so it would make perfect sense for them to air together.
