Book 2 of The Legend of Korra Most Likely to Release During April 2013 [Update]

Update: Post has been updated at the bottom. David Faustino tweeted me some more information.

It looks like the release month for Book 2 of The Legend of Korra is all but confirmed. Earlier today, David Faustino, the voice actor of Mako, tweeted that he expects Book 2 of The Legend of Korra to air sometime April 2013.

No one from Nickelodeon has officially come out to say that Book 2 will air during April 2013, but based on all the hints alluding to that month thus far, I think it’s safe to say that the release month is set. More on all those hints after the actual tweet:

This is actually the second time David Faustino has said Book 2 will release in April. And he’s not the only one. April Stewart has also mentioned that April will be a BIG month for The Legend of Korra. That ultimately led many to speculate that April would be the release month for Book 2.

Now that both Faustino and Stewart have mentioned April being Book 2’s release month, I think we can finally put our questions to rest.

It looks like Book 2 of The Legend of Korra will release in April 2013, we just don’t know the exact date. I plan to write more about this tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Update:

Earlier today, David Faustino tweeted me and explained that he was just guessing Book 2’s release month when he said it would release in April. You can view the tweet below:

This doesn’t really change things too much. In fact, this just reinforces our predictions. Everyone, including the voice actors, are on board in predicting that Book 2 will air in April. That’s a big thing.

Expect Book 2 to still debut in April 2013 despite the mix up.

  1. I think ur right that its safe to assume that April is gonna be the release date. How many episodes are going to be in book 2?

    • 14

      • Yep, 14 ^

  2. Great post

  3. You think they’re going to do a two part season opener and finale like they did in book 1?

    • Most likely, but it’s not like the season finale and season premiere were 2 episodes. 2 episodes were just aired together back-to-back.
